Craps dealers: Can you place your bet on the line splitting the Big 6 and Big 8?

As in a $10 bet right on the line between the Big 6 and Big 8, meaning a $5 bet on each number. Is it okay to put it right on line in the middle of the two?Craps dealers: Can you place your bet on the line splitting the Big 6 and Big 8?
No, the bet must be on one side or the other. The Big 6 or Big 8 pays even money, and the place bet pay 7-6, not 6-5 like the other guy said. Still, PLACE the 6 or 8, and never use the big 6 or 8.

Remember, that just like the big 6 or 8, a place bet can be removed from the table at the players choice, and put back whenever you want!Craps dealers: Can you place your bet on the line splitting the Big 6 and Big 8?

No.. The dealer will give you 2- 5s and put 5 on the 6 and 8..

Like the dude above said place the 6 or 8 up top and get 6/5 on you bet
Not sure.

But since the Big 6 and Big 8 bets are exactly the same bets as place bets, but with worse odds, why would you play them anyway?
