Any scientific evidence for the splitting of moon?

Muslims claim that mohammed split the moon into two parts. I tried checking but maybe am checking in the wrong place, As to what I read if this was so, than there would have been major calamities due to the floods, as moon is responsible for high tides and low tides. Beforehand: You MUST understand that the ';splitting'; was not in the sense that it became two parts which floated away from each other. But simply like when you slice a tomato in two, that's what happened to the moon. It was splitted, but the pieces stayed together regardless.





Here, is the proof. The cracked line over the moon is proof the moon was split once in history, and that happened 1400 years ago, the it is not clean-split anymore, but you can EASILY, anyone with sight, can make out the crack:

No, the evidence is strong for something called ';Theia'; (Mars sized), forming the Moon from the Earth. No evidence of a second Moon.

Sounds like he pulled the eclipse trick on the uneducated people around him.

The moon does have 2 distict ages of rock on it, but as for splitting? No i dont see this happening
The only split moon I know of is the one you see when someone moons ya.
