Is there a better anode/cathode than graphite when splitting water into hydrogen an oxygen using electricity?

Its not secret that you can split water into hydrogen and oxygen with electricity. Is graphite the best cathode/anode if you think about productivity versus cost?Is there a better anode/cathode than graphite when splitting water into hydrogen an oxygen using electricity?
yes, platinum is a better electrodeIs there a better anode/cathode than graphite when splitting water into hydrogen an oxygen using electricity?
In chlorine electolisis they use osmium plated Titanium grid anode/catode. That is the most severe test you can impose to any electicity conducting material, contact with chlorine.
