When throwing a baseball what is a good way to keep your fingers from splitting apart?

whenever i throw the ball slips between my fingers. answers are needed fast. the baseball tryouts are 2morrow.

try rolling the ball off of your middle finger [i assume you throw with 2 fingers]. this will help guide the ball more, and keep it in line.

When your pitching, you want to face your hand all the way back (like your standing forward and someone wants to give you a high five behind you and you are staying in one spot) and it will automatically face forward in the end.
