What is the middle of the alphabet when splitting the first initial of the last name?

We are splitting our customer database in half, and A-M, N-Z doesn't seem to be 50/50. Where would the middle be?What is the middle of the alphabet when splitting the first initial of the last name?
it wont be 50/50 unless all ur customers are exaclty split with the starting letters of their last name. Some letters are more frequent in last name causing one side to have more name even though u did split at exactly 50/50What is the middle of the alphabet when splitting the first initial of the last name?
I suspect nobody really understood the question except the person who asked it. If you take a phone book from a city in the USA, you will find that approximately 63% of the last names in it start with the letters A through M. The 50% split is around the letter K.

If you want half of the entries to be in each database, it seems like it would be best to run a report of how many names are in each letter, and add them up from either end until you get closest to dividing it evenly.
I would say A-L and M-Z
the middle is m and n
the middle is between m and n now you figure out how to split the space between them and you will have id divided equally
