How can I stop Movie Maker from splitting the movie I imported into frames?

I import and it splits into frames, not like 1 sec perframe, like it divided up one video into 3 frames that altogether are like 45 seconds. On my other Move maker, it just imported the video as whole. I don't want to drag and put it all together. I wanna know if there is an option to get it to stop doing this. I don't want to select all the frames and click combine when I know it can be changed.How can I stop Movie Maker from splitting the movie I imported into frames?
Check your capture settings and see if there is something called an ';auto split'; feature or option to separate clips into bins. Then turn it off.
